Belle Day are four-piece band committed to making the very best in original soul, RnB and blues music. Circumstances brought previous band The Happy Few to an end, leaving themcwithout a singer, and a European tour to fulfil. Rather than cancel the dates, they recruited Belinda Lee, wrote a set’s worth original material and hit the road - playing a string of dates across Europe including a live session at Le Melletron in Paris. Off the back of this tour Belle Day was formed.
Blending both old school and contemporary influences, Belle Day take inspiration from 50’s jazz, 60’s soul and electric blues all weaved together with heavy grooves. Citing influences from Led Zeppelin to Sam Cooke, from Freddie King to J Dilla, expect virtuosic musicianship and soulful vocals with a killer live show.
Belle Day are currently in the UK putting finishing touches to their debut album before heading back out on the road in the summer. The band features Belinda Lee on Vocals, Mark Goudswaard on Guitar, Chris Axe on Bass and Mike Cooper on drums.
The venue is open from 10:30am, Happy Hour from 5-7pm!
