A transformational workshop in honor of Mother’s Day
This workshop will offer a safe and inclusive space for women of all ages and backgrounds to share both in the joys and sorrows of their womb stories. We will honor mother’s day as a time of gratitude and recognition for both our birth mothers (past and present) as well as the great mother earth, Gaia. This workshop will include three unique offerings: Yoga of the Heart/Womb - A femininely aligned practice with Schirin Chams Diba; The cultivation of optimal vitality through Ovarian Breathing & Yoni Egg practice with Ayah Buonaugurio; and ending the day with an interpretive dance score exploring our personal womb stories led by Miriam Peretz.
Yoga of the Feminine™ with Schirin Chams Diba
In our circle of sisters we weave yogic practices and wisdom teachings from Ancient Samkhya and Shakta Tantra Mahavidyas traditions with a modern reclamation of the Sacred Feminine Arts. We regard the feminine skeletal structural needs and cycles as a guiding point for asana, chakra work, meditation, yantra, mantra and pranayama. We move in our own lunar rhythms and connect with our naturally arising wisdom, insight, vitality and joy. Through going deep into our heart/womb spaces, we tap into the source of true feminine power, intuition, creativity, healing and nurture. The sisterhood allows for a safe space of deep connection to Self and each other.
Schirin Chams-Diba is a dancer, yogini, mystic woman, nature lover, healer and world-traveller from the heart.
For the past decade, Schirin has taught sacred movement medicine through a culmination of femininely aligned yoga, medicine and sacred dance traditions from the Middle East to India to offer a transformational and empowering experience. She enhances her teachings with various esoteric traditions seen through the feminine lens, lunar rhythms and holistic lifestyle choices. Bringing together all these riches has led her to develop her method for ‘Essence of the Feminine’.

These ancient tools will retrieve the connection with the wisdom of our bodies, sensuality, sexuality and fertility.
