The Good, The Bad, and The Blues is a fulltime, hardworking, blues band that gives 100% to both their original material and covers.
Known for his energy, lead guitarist and vocalist Aayan Naim grew up in Chicago directly across the street from Muddy Waters, providing him the ultimate blues heritage. Drummer Hollywood Mike takes drumming to a whole new level and is the heartbeat of the band. Bass player Gordon Henry keeps the music moving and creates a foundation that is pure and solid. His unmistakable voice adds richly to the harmonies this band produces. Rounding out the band is keyboardist BJ Love, who makes every song vibrate with blues magic and majesty.
The Good, The Bad, and The Blues are the 2011, 2012, 2013 winners of the Black Swamp Blues Society challenge and the 2014 Columbus Blues Alliance winners. Additionally, the band made the finals at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee in January of 2015, reaching the top 30 out of 255 bands from around the world.
