The MET proudly presents the classic musical comedy, High Society in May 2018.
Meet Tracey Lord, the society darling, as she prepares for her wedding to the rich (but incredibly dull) George Kittredge. By all accounts it should be the wedding of the year, however things don’t quite go as planned!
High Society features Tegan Gully as Tracy Lord, Andrew Crispe as Dexter Haven, Jenny Scarce as Liz Imbrie, Chris Eaton as Mike Connor, Andrew Crayford as Uncle Willie, Graham Loveday as George Kitteridge, Georgia Cosercas as Dinah Lord, Shelly Hampton as Margaret Lord and Lance Jones as Seth Lord.
High Society is based on Phillip Barry’s fabulously witty play ‘The Philadelphia Story’ combined with some of Cole Porter’s best known classics including: High Society, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, Let’s Misbehave and Well, did you evah?
The MET welcomes back Barry Hill as Director, Ben Saunders as Musical Director and Celeste Barone in her debut as Choreographer for The MET.
High Society is the perfect marriage of wit, elegance and fabulous, well-known songs – guaranteed to please!
