Saturday 30th June
Through yoga, embodied movement and mindfulness we will explore the mind-body connection, and how this relates to and influences our emotions, eating habits & body image.
As someone who struggled for many years with body-image issues and disordered eating, I have a great understanding of how important embodied movement and yoga practices are in reconnecting with your body, releasing inner conflict, and developing a kinder, healthier, more respectful relationship with your body and yourself.
Do you currently experience problems with eating, or perhaps experienced problems in the past? Maybe you notice that your eating habits vary depending on how you feel emotionally, and you would like to understand this better?
This workshop is for anyone who would like to enquire into the relationship with their sense of self, body-image, emotions & eating.
In 2016 I completed a teacher training in Yoga Therapy and Eating Disorders at The Minded Institute in London. It was an extremely insightful and interesting course that explored the mind/body connection and how this connection strongly influences our sense of self, our body image and the relationship between our emotions and our eating patterns.
Through a therapeutic and embodied yoga practice you will:
🔸Explore the relationship between body, mind, emotions and food
🔸Develop mindfulness of the body, it's sensations and needs
🔸Learn yoga techniques that you can apply in everyday life to navigate stressful situations
🔸Use your yoga practice to support your ongoing wellbeing, and empower you to make better choices
🔸Balance and boost your energy levels
🔸Practice mindful eating skills
🔸Have fun and find support with people experiencing similar challenges!
...due to the nature of this workshop, I am limiting spaces to 8. Please get in touch directly to book, and if you have any questions about the workshop please feel free to contact me on 07971 206491.
Hope to see you there!
