Chicago rock 'n roller Tammi Savoy, who was recently signed to Swelltune Records, will be joined by the Chris Casello Trio for what is sure to be the rockin'est, rollin'est set of the evening! Although she has been singing since the age of 3 in her church choir, Miss Tammi Savoy is quickly rising and making her mark in the music industry. Touring with several elite bands as well as providing vocals for various tribute artists including many highly acclaimed Elvis Tribute Artists and Ray Charles tribute acts. She has also performed her very own tribute to Diana Ross. Fans of Ruth Brown, Lavern Baker, & Varetta Dillard will not want to miss Miss Tammi!
Nashville based all female supergroup Chick Curless & The Diesel Dames pay special tribute to the truck driving country sounds of the 1960s & 1970s. The gals combine past experience playing gigs with Charlie Louvin, The Wooten Brothers, Leona Williams, Taj Mahal, and more for a truly authentic country western rock 'n roll gear jammin' experience. A must see for all Dave Dudley and Dick Curless fans!
Cheryl Deserée has not slowed down since moving to Nashville in 2014. She is currently working on her second record, "Dreamy, Too," featuring collaborations with Asleep at the Wheel and Riders In The Sky. Cheryl was also recently named 2017 Western Swing Female of the Year by the Academy of Western Artists out of Ft. Worth, Texas. Besides her songwriting and playing around Nashville with her band, The Sugar Moon Swingers, Cheryl also works commercially doing harmony and demo work. Think "traditional country & swing originals delivered on a billow of sultry, jazz-infused smoke."
Laura Mae Socks hails from Southwest Louisiana, often described as haunting due to her lilting vocal style she plays songs reminiscent of a bygone era of country music. We're glad to have her in Nashville and especially thrilled that she's helping us come & kick off the Boogie in style!
