Celebrate Southern food and culture! Chef Katie Button and the Nightbell team welcome guest chef Jeremiah Bacon for a special dinner event benefiting the Southern Foodways Alliance on Wednesday, April 18 at 6 p.m. Chef Bacon, executive chef and partner at The Macintosh and Oak Steakhouse in Charleston, will collaborate with Button and the Nightbell team to serve a cocktail reception with small bites followed by a family-style four-course menu inspired inspired by Southern foodways. Local author Ronni Lundy, a Southern Foodways Alliance founding member and James Beard Award winner, will be our special guest speaker for the evening.
This event is a fundraiser for the Southern Foodways Alliance, an organization that documents, studies, and explores the diverse food cultures of the changing American South.
