This Qigong form focuses on the the vital organs each correlating to an element. In China Qigong is known as a science of human potential and development. It consists of Taoist Qigong exercises, meditations, postures, breathing practices, and is also a form of Tao Yin (stretching). A steady practice can improve proprioception, balance, strength, stamina, and, relieve many ailments by balancing the breath, body and mind.
In the workshop we will briefly discuss Tao Te Ching and the I-Chin, the energy centers of the body (Dantians, the relationship between Qigong and Chinese medicine, as well as the five elements, fascia and meridians. We will put into practice some meditation, warm up exercises, postures, and the Five Elements Qigong.
