Saxon Zine presents..
A bank holiday special in aid of 'Shelter', we bring together some of music's underground up and comers to the trusty Old Blue Last for a night of shredding, thought, awareness & charity.
Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through their advice, support and legal services. And they campaign to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to them for help. They're there so no one has to fight bad housing or homelessness on their own. They couldn’t do it without the support of people like you! It's a free entry event but there will be donation boxes with a suggested donation of £3 but you can donate whatever you like:)

Guitarist Ebony Clay and bassist Jack Timmis smash out brawny, off-time riffs that evoke the darker moments of Led Zep IV. The space they and rampant drummer Sam Jenkins create offers singer Andy Teece room to spit rhythmic vocals that suggest a supercharged Tom Waits is front and centre.
Somehow, in the febrile chaos, there is sex and slick-back swagger, the sort of which you’ve seen in recent Arctic Monkeys. Take a minute to process the dark romance directing the lyrics, and the comparison strengthens.
HVMM’s debut EP “Talk To Me Like I’m Dead” is out now on ILA!
