Mark McDowell & Friends are a psych-folk collective from Bristol performing jangly garage folk, spooked out ballads & hypnotic drone based improvisations. Taking inspiration from the 1960/70’s folk scene as well as a pioneering contemporary approach the bands current is titled ‘Dark Weave’.

This event marks a limited vinyl release of the bands warmly received album ‘Dark Weave’

Dark Weave derives much of its success from its artfully constructed textures. Analogue bubbles and drones are at play here as Mark McDowell and Hannah Moriah’s vocals commingle with acoustic lines and Indian strings, on this fine and varied offering.
