Warband Format
Warbands are pre-constructed as per their box. The characters in each warband may not be exchanged for other characters. You will use the same warband in all games. Please submit these at the start of the day to the Tournament Organiser. Any warband on general release may be used, even if it is released on the day of the event.

There are 2 decks in use. Power Cards and Objective Cards.

As per the Shadespire rulebook each deck must conform to the following rules:
Power card deck:
- No duplicates
- Only Neutral or Faction appropriate cards may be used.
- This deck must contain AT LEAST 20 cards. It can be more but not less than 20.
- No more than half of the cards in this deck can be ploys. You may have less than half but not more.
- Sleeved in matching sleeves (different from the Objective Card deck)

Objective card deck:
- No duplicates
- Only Neutral or Faction appropriate cards may be used.
- This deck must contain 12 cards only. It may not be more or not less than 12.
- Sleeved in matching sleeves (different from the Power Card deck)

A note on card sleeves - Each of your card decks is required to have a different sleeve style. This is to ensure your opponent is clear on what cards you may be holding. Sleeves within each deck must match, for example ALL cards in your power deck are in plain blue sleeves, all cards in your Objective Deck are in plain Red Sleeves. Any marked, damaged or difference between sleeves within a deck may result in a disqualification from the tournament. Examples of differences:
- Some sleeves are a Matte finish, others are gloss
- Bent corners
- Scratches or scuffs
- Pen marks or non-matching illustrations

Each deck you use must be submitted to the Tournament Organiser during registration on the day of the event. Please have this printed on a sheet in a clear format. Submission prior to the event of Warband or Decks is not required and will not act as a substitute for a printed submission on the day. YOU MUST BRING 2 PRINTED WARBAND/DECK LIST ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

Each round will consist of a best of 3. The player to reach 2 wins first will win the round. In order to win you must finish a game with the highest number of Glory Points.

Rounds will be scored in the following manner.

Win = 10 points
Draw = 5 points
Loss = 1 point

Tie Breakers
In the event of a tie and for final standings a series of tiebreakers will be used (in order):
1. Strength of Schedule (the total number of round wins your opponents have)
2. Total Number of Glory Points
3. Glory Point Difference (Total Earned - Total Conceded)

Participant Responsibilities
Participants are expected to turn up on time. They should ensure they start their rounds in a timely fashion and avoid time delaying during rounds.

Participants must bring the following:

A copy of the Shadespire Rulebook
All appropriate cards for their deck, these must be official cards not printouts.
Decks should be sleeved in matching sleeves.
2 full print outs of your deck lists and warband.
Board Tiles, Objective Markers, Tokens, Dice
A pen

In the event you fail to bring any of these items and are found to need them in a rules query you may be ruled against.

Prizes will be selected from Games Workshop Organised Play packs.
Best Painted
If the event prize pool warrants a Best Painted prize, during the lunch any players wishing to enter the painting competition will be asked to display their army. Outpost staff and other players will vote on armies and decide the best painted. To enter, your army must be fully painted.

Tactical Genius
If the event prize pool warrants it, an award for Tactical Genius will form part of the prize pool. This will be calculated as highest Glory Point Difference (total earned - total conceded).
