The tour was founded on the premise of promoting diversity through laughter and focuses on choosing the perfect blend of national comics by selecting an eclectic mix of styles. This year’s line up includes a hysterical array of national comedians: headliner Mike Cannon, Irene Morales, Funnyman Skiba, and Brendan Sagalow.

VIP Ticket Holders are invited to a pre-show VIP Meet & Greet Reception from 6:30PM to 7:30PM with a live band, free wine, and free hor d’oeuvres at the Water Street Restaurant located on the corner of 5th & Water Street (off of the Downtown Mall). Header: Mike Cannon, one of New York’s most talked about comedians on the scene. He has recently appeared as a panelist on Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, TruTV’s Top Funniest, MTV’s Failosophy, MTV’s Money From Strangers and has been a contributing writer/performer for MTV2’s Guy Code. He currently is a regular guest on several Sirius/XM Radio shows including Opie Radio, The Jim Norton and Sam Roberts Show, and Bennington as well as appearing on The Compound Media Network and tons of popular podcasts.

Previously Mike hosted a popular weekly web-series called “The Weed News with Mike Cannon” and his conspiracy theory podcast “Deep Inside the Rabbit Hole.” He was also a co-host of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s web-series Sexy vs Skanky and a featured performer on VH1’s “Why Am I Still Single?”

Irene Morales is a comedian living in New York City, originally from Miami, Florida. Her stories and shortcomings combined with sarcasm and a little bit of sass make for a memorable set that audiences enjoy because they can relate.

She has shared the stage with Gilbert Gottfried, Nikki Glaser, Hannibal Buress, Ron Funches, Julio Escallon, and many other A-List comics. She placed top in Comedy Central’s South Beach Comedy Festival Contest in 2014 and is now a regular at New York Comedy Club. She has written for Yahoo Mujer, GQ, and Fusion and is currently a contributor at Someecards as well as a staff writer at Laugh Staff.

Funnyman Skiba is often referred to as one of the funniest comics alive. Serving as the exclusive host for the United Nations of Comedy Tour since 2011, Skiba has been in the line-up since 2002. Skiba is a 4-Time Comic View All-star, which is legendary on Viacom’s network. He has appeared on Comedy Central and regularly on TVOne. His animated style of real comedy makes for no dull moments on stage, and is notoriously hard to follow! Having shared the stage with Martin Lawrence, Kevin Hart, Bill Bellamy, and other greats, Skiba surely is a comic’s comic.

This visit makes it his 12th appearance in Charlottesville; the most appearances in the city by any national comic.

Brendan Sagalow is a New York-based comedian who started stand up at the early age of 19. Brendan has climbed the ranks and impressed at all of the major elite comedy clubs in New York City including Carolines on Broadway, Stand Up NY, Broadway Comedy Club, the legendary New York Comedy Club, and others. Brendan has written for MTV’s Joking Off, contributed jokes to the Roast of Rob Lowe, and been featured on many Sirius XM shows such as the Erik Negal Show, The Check Spot Live with Emma Willmann and Bennington on Raw Dog Radio, along with also being a future comic for Deray Davis.

Brendan was a finalist in the Long Island Laugh-Off,the winner of the 2015 New York Comedy Club Comedy Competition, and was selected into the Rhode Island Comedy Festival in Newport, RI; a huge comedy honor. His own podcast “The Stupid Little Podcast” is featured weekly on iTunes.
