Pacificum is the first Peruvian documentary produced for release in Peru. Its unprecedented success lead it to win the Audience Award at the Festival de Cine de Lima PUCP in 2017 and to the establishment of the “Pacificum Movement”, empowering individuals to become ambassadors and protectors of the ocean. Netflix has bought the rights to the film and the Anglo Peruvian Society has been given the opportunity to premiere the film for the first time in the UK before it is released by this important network.

All proceeds of the event will be in aid of ‘Conservando por Naturaleza’ part of the SPDA (Peruvian Society for Environmental Rights) that will be organising a roadshow through the coasts of Peru screening the film free of charge in fishing villages, helping the locals discover the importance and richness of the unique environment they live in and inviting them to be part of the Pacificum Movement.
