Cacao is a gentle, heart-opening and delicious medicine that has been used in many different ways by ancient cultures in the Americas.
A cacao ceremony is an opportunity to connect to your inner self and open your heart. It aids in any transformational shift you are working towards, whether you are looking to deepen your understanding of who you are, release old patterns and traumas, or just awaken your full potential and have fun with it. Whatever your path, the intention is yours to set. We will provide a setting that will allow you to explore and receive the maximum benefit that cacao can give you.
The cacao ceremony will begin with a warm mug of ceremonial grade cacao elixir. The effect of the cacao will be enhanced and deepened with the healing vibrations of hang drums, mayan temple flutes, didgeridoo, African drums, ecstatic dance, chanting and guided meditations. This ceremony is quite likely to open up your heart. Cacao is known as the food of the gods. It can gently support us and guide us each toward what needs our love and attention within. Realigning of cellular vibrations by our collection of beautiful musical instruments is a beautiful and unique experience!
The Cacao works best on an empty stomach, so we recommend having a good meal earlier in the day and then not eating for two to three hours before the event, or just have a very light snack. Avoid dairy on this day, as it inhibits the effects of the cacao elixir. make sure you drink plenty of water.
Cacao will be sugar free, vegan and organic.

Meet the facilitators:
Leandro was born in Colombia and has spent many years travelling around South America. During his journeys, he had the opportunity to learn ancient knowledge from Papachos (elders) and shamans. This included the magic of cacao (unprocessed chocolate), which captivated him. Since then he has been running cacao ceremonies in South America and in Australia, providing a setting that creates and allows people to get the maximum benefit that this powerful plant can provide.
He is currently co-creating sound healings, playing different instruments including Mayan temple flute, pan flutes, charango (Andean string guitar) and also accompanying guided meditations with the instruments.
Inhabit Flow Collective is a dynamic community collective and the workshops and ceremonies are often co-facilitated with other practitioners, sound healers, yoga teachers, musicians and movement instructors.
Georgia MacNevin is a psychologist with over ten years experience in dance, yoga and meditation. She has taught meditation and mindfulness in both clinical and community settings.
Josh is a big cuddly bear who loves exploring, unlocking and healing through sound, breath and movement.
