Celebrate Durham Region Pride Week and join us for a night of live music, film, art, and more that celebrate the vibrancy and resilience of queer creatives.
Fronted by transgender LatinX songwriter Carolina Brown, I. M. Brown & The Transcendents fills out any room with their spacey experimental post-rock music. Ethereal and restless, yet heavy and melodic, the barrage of thudding bass and an endless clamouring of cymbals and synth notes complement the immense voice of Carolina who, with harrowing vocals, screams out stories of pain and transition.
We'll celebrate the opening of Glimmers of the Radiant Real, curated by Sam Mogelonsky and Ruth Jones, while in Gallery A we have the closing reception for Primavera in Sospeso, a project by Jennie Suddick and Anna Rose.
In the studio, get creative with ALL the colours of the rainbow.
