A fascinating introduction to the world of free machine embroidery. This is an exciting workshop to help you explore the creative potential of the humble domestic sewing machine
You can use it to draw outlines, fill in spaces with colour, write letters, create interesting textures, combine it with applique for even more results. You can even use it to create new fabrics, open work or lace effects, in fact, a whole world of personal expression can open up for you. Use it to decorate any textile project, cards, existing clothes and household linens.
The list is endless and the only limit is your imagination
Your machine must be able to either drop the "feed dogs" or cover the needle plate (see your hand book for how to do this)
BYO machine and fabrics.
£60 for the day but bring a packed lunch
