Pregnancy is a truly special and unique time – a time of transition when your energies are directed to a new life and evolving into a new version of yourself as a mother. In our busy modern lives it can be difficult to take a step back and allow ourselves the opportunity for self nurture and to prepare for this transition. Our regular Pregnancy Wellness workshops, run by two passionate midwives, allow you that time to tune in, connect to the inner journey and nourish your mind, body and soul.

The afternoon will will break down into four parts
1. a talk on a specific topic to support you to prepare for birth and the early weeks with your new baby
2. an Aromatherapy session on how essential oils can effectively be used to support your pregnancy and birth with a personalised blend to take home
3. a guided Hypnobirthing relaxation to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated with positive confidence and energy
4. tea and cake and an opportunity to discuss questions with the midwives

The sessions are perfect to attend at any stage of pregnancy and are on offer to support your well-being through pregnancy. The Pregnancy Wellness workshops will alternate monthly with our midwife-led couples workshops which focus on Birth Preparation.

**About the Midwives**
Vicky and Emily are both practicing midwives, childbirth educators and have both recently become mothers themselves. They have worked alongside each other for many years, as part of King's Hospital community midwifery team and teaching antenatal classes in South London. They have a vast range of knowledge and wisdom, having practiced in all areas in and out of the hospital, and most recently giving personalised care to women and their families in a case-loading team. Each day is varied for them with a wide range of roles from doing antenatal or postnatal appointments to caring for women in labour in the hospital or at home births.

Together their true passion is to empower parents-to-be, through imparting their knowledge about childbirth and early life with a baby. With a holistic and gentle approach they endeavour to prepare and nurture women in their pregnancy so they can feel strong, fearless and ready for labour.
