Scott Johnson, co-founder and director of Stillpoint Yoga London, will return to Cambridge in 2018 for a weekend of Mysore self-practice sessions and workshops, on the theme of "Cultivating Gentle Strength in Yoga".

6.30-8.30am: Mysore self-practice

6.00-8.00pm: Discovering the Body/Mind: Framing Yoga Practice in a New Light - A look at the relationship of Breath / Bandha / Drishti and how the awareness of these through the practice brings us into yoga. Experiencing these frameworks in a new expansive light, we can begin to see how intelligence evolves, particularly in relationship to movement, as we deepen our awareness of the many elements that arise during yoga practice.

10.00am-12.00 noon: Mysore self-practice

1.30-4pm: Meeting Challenges - Moving Forward with Intelligence in Asana. When we begin to reimagine our practice and see it in a new light, where does that then leave us? How do we then move? In this session we will deepen our awareness of the asanas from the Primary and Intermediate series of the Ashtanga Yoga method and see how they not only challenge us but also offer insight. With the focus we have developed over the weekend, we can then start to notice how we meet challenge in practice and in everyday life.
