Hillbilly Hankerin’
This hysterical play will keep you laughing and seeing once and for all what it’s like to have a bad case of ’Hillbilly Hankerin’!

Directed by Kasey Hoskins

Performance dates will be August 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 & 26.

Open auditions for HILLBILLY HANKERIN’, will be held Friday, April 20th 5:00pm and Saturday, April 21st 10:00am at the Norfleet Gallery, next door to the Star. Parts are available for teenagers and adults. Please use the Main Street entrance.
Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights beginning May 15th with Sunday afternoons added beginning July 1st.

Character Descriptions:
Ma Hereford – a mountain woman in her late 40s
Freida Hereford – a daughter with men on her mind
Betty Hereford – another daughter with the same problem
Liza Hereford – another daughter just like her sisters
Maggie Hereford – another daughter like the others
Pa Hereford – a mountain man in his late 40s
Charlie Hereford – the studious daughter
Rosemary Bickle – a busybody neighbor, in her 50s
Parsley Bickle – Rosemary’s sister, also a bit nosy
Cyrus Hereford – Pa’s brother, “Silent Cy”
Dandelion Blatch – the mailman lady
Marcus Slidell – the big city guv’mint man
SaraLee Poke – the newspaper lady of the Holler
“Black Widder” Perkins – a woman in her 50s, feared by others
Maisy Hagan – the Widder Perkin’s assistant
Jeanie Guernsey – a daughter of the feudin’ Guernseys
Janie Guernsey – another Guernsey daughter
Rosie Guernsey – a girl like her sisters, looking for a man
Pug Guernsey – a bit pushier than her sisters
Matt – one of the guv’mint team
