Editorial Fashion Photography
A full day exploring the methods in high end fashion photography with Anthony Grassetti
Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 930am to 5pm
Studio A and B at SOPHA, Manchester, NH
This program is part of our new series of Top Shelf Photographic Educational Experiences.
One of the most fundamental aspects of fashion photography is the ability to create an editorial. Though there are no rules governing the content of your creative output, there is a framework of foundational (and often secretive) knowledge required in order to successfully assemble a team, produce strong images, and ultimately publish your story.
Join us for a full day intensive, covering the entire fashion editorial process from conception to publication. Together we will develop your understanding of the type of imagery magazines are looking for. We will cover the ins and outs of assembling your team, including working with a stylist, attaining a “pull letter,” sourcing agency models, and working with editors.
Using agency models, a wardrobe stylist, and a hair and makeup artist we will shoot a full fashion editorial. With the images we create together, you will then be able to approach agencies and publications in order to source the talent required for your own editorial shoot.
Models for this event will be provided by Model Club, Inc.
