~☆~ April RE-Birth Day Ecstatic Dance ~☆~
You are invited to a REBirth Day Ecstatic Dance at Guan Yin Tea House Saturday, April 14th, 6pm-9pm, This party is in honor of my birthday! So bring all your love-filled heart-centered goodness to this space and let's celebrate! But let's not just make it about me! This party is about celebrating the miracle of life! Birth and RE-birth. We are children of the universe, being born every moment! Everything we do is tantric, every breath, every beat, every dance step. Let's step deep within and recreate ourselves from this point forward as we celebrate our ecstatic REbirth! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkhSPZfQEWg

"Giving birth and being born
brings us into the essence of creation,
where the human spirit is courageous and bold
and the body, a miracle of wisdom."
― Harriet Hartigan

I also would like to celebrate the miracle that is the existence, or birth, of all things, as well as all March and April birthdays that have not been celebrated. Come celebrate YOU, being gentle with YOURSELF, and YOUR birth and rebirth, being born EACH MOMENT, as a child of the universe. ♥ Fellow humans, let's make this party rock!

What does it mean to change, and grow? The only constant is change. The current flow of energy has been dispersed, and a new vision appears... One filled with love and light, saffron and lotus tea, dancing, Kirtan, and heart to hearts! Much love and light dear ones! I welcome you come celebrate REBirth with me at ecstatic dance! <3 <3 👃💖 ❤💞 See you there! 👃☝️👌💖💕💞❤

~ ☆ ~ Official Dance Invite! ~ ☆ ~

You are invited to a spirit soul dance yoga night at Guan Yin Tea House Saturday, April 14th, 6pm-9pm, $10 cover. Enjoy an ecstatic dance party with tea service compliments of Guan Yin Tea House with saffron and lotus tea served by Daniel Ashur. We will enjoy Kirtan after with local Kundalini healer & acupuncturist Kendall Ash. Excited to see you all there! 👌

Suggested to wear yoga clothing or something you feel comfortable moving freely in. An area will be provided for shoes to be left by the door.

What does it mean to dance ecstatically? Come experience the escalations of ecstatic dance expression: allowing the the body to move in a way that commands the universe to listen. To listen to what? To listen to your inner you-niverse! To listen to your own unique ecstatic expression of what it means to be a human being! Let your freak flag fly! Or shelter yourself in the gentle cocoon of free flow dance of your own creation. Or sit on your cushion and allow the music to gently permeate your being and allow you to experience the feeling of being alive! This is what ecstatic dance means to me. What does it mean to you? Come to find out. :)

This is a sober event. Come and let your soul get drunk on music!

This event is open to all ages and to all walks of life! As the mantra says, "Om Mani Padme Hum," meaning, "We are all One." 👌

Ecstatic dance is a talk-free practice. We have conversations with our body language, eye contact, gestures, contact improv, and when soul meets soul. In partner dance, if you are ready to end the dance with your partner, simply acknowledge your partner with a Namaste: clasp your hands together in a prayer position at your heart. Namaste means "The light in me sees the light in you." It is both a greeting, an acknowledgement of gratitude, and a goodbye. These techniques and more will be discussed at the event. Ecstatic dance is a one-of-a-kind experience. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!

Limited parking is available at Gyan Yin Teahouse. Parking is also available along Harmon and 49th street, which is a short walk to the tea house (bring walking shoes, flashlight or phone light, and a buddy, if you prefer!). If you miss your turn into the tea house, simply take the very next right past the tea house (46th street). The last (unmarked) road before Airport is Harmon. This will lead you back to 49th. (See map pic! 👍)
