This month the Pier 2 Pier Beach Clean and Recycling & refuse in Brighton & Hove are teaming up to bring you a Silent Disco Beach Clean in aid of International Earth Day 2018 - Earth Day Network.

This year's campaign aims to 'End Plastic Pollution' through changing human attitude and behaviour. So come dressed as your favourite gift of nature (animal, plant, habitat), grab your litter-grabbing dancing shoes and let's show the world how much Brighton loves this planet!

We'll be stationed at The Tempest Inn from 11am to 2pm for you to collect your litter grabbers, headphones and gloves before heading out to the beach to clean and dance for as long as you like. When you return treat yourself to discount food and drinks courtesy of The The Tempest Inn.

This event is open to all ages, and there will be something for kids and adults alike! It's a great opportunity to entertain the kids while teaching them about reducing plastic in the seas for the future generation.

The The Deans Beach & Environment Volunteers will be back again with their 'Teach on the Beach' fun and this time with their 'Plastic spiraling out of control' community art installation.

Do you live in Kemptown or further out? Are you a supporter of the international marine conservation organisation Sea Shepherd UK? They'll be running an Earth Day beach clean from Brighton Marina on the same day - meet on the beach between the top of the subway from Brighton Marina near Asda and the black rock car park at 10am before working along the beach towards the pier. Together we'll cover the whole beach! https://www.facebook.com/events/1882900788666787/

**Please bring your own reusable bag for collecting litter
**Refundable £5 deposit or ID/bank card required for headphones
