Hollywood & Vine returns April 10th with an evening of fleabag comedies featuring 7 well-shod, somewhat groomed actors, all ready to chase that rabbit. No, wait, that's dogs. Start again...
H&V has rigged another day at the races, so you can bet on one of these doped up studs (not quite out to pasture) to win in a photo finish:
Or one of these fillies (not an old gray mare in the lot) to upset in the final stretch:
Our one act plays include The Faucets of the Law, by Cary Pepper; Lifetime Achievement, by Jack Neary; and Trash, by Don Gordon. We'll race through the worst government office you'd ever want to be in; stretch in the trashiest bar you'd ever want to get hit on in; find relief in the bathroom of the least suave date ever; and, of course, graze in a local Dunkin' Donuts!
Performances start at 7 pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, April 10, 11, 17, and 18. On Sunday, April 15 , we begin at 3 pm. Tickets are $15. So gallop over to The New World Tavern, 56 Main St., Plymouth, MA.
