Please join us for a masterclass with pianist Louis Schwizgebel, guest soloist with The Florida Orchestra, at Sykes Chapel, University of Tampa.

Born in 1987 into a family of artists from Switzerland and China, Louis has received awards from the Geneva International Music Competition, Young Concert Artists International Auditions, and the Leeds International Piano Competition.

He will work with students from Grigorios Zamparas’s piano studio at the University of Tampa on Saturday, April 14, from 10-11:30 am.

This is an opportunity to watch college students refine complex music and technical skills with a pianist who has been hailed as “as genuine virtuoso, a spirited young genius with real depth” by Germany’s Fono Forum.

Schwizgebel will perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 26 with TFO on April 14 & 15.

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP by email to Daryn Bauer at dbauer@floridaorchestra.org.
