SpeakEasy tells the story of Kyle Kaleo, a young man working a simple job in a medical records office where he doesn't have to talk much. Kyle has always found conversation to be like a chess match. Only one person ever really understood him, and that person has sadly passed away. But one day, when witnessing an accident and seeing a woman in trouble, Kyle runs to help her, and in turn is blessed with mysterious powers. These abilities will help him learn to checkmate every conversation from now on with his newfound gifts. With the help of new friends, Kyle will unravel the mystery of his powers, their heritage, and what it means to be a hero.
