Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. The word is a portmanteau of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.
This crochet class for students with intermediate crochet skills is a TWO NIGHT event. (4/12 AND 4/19!) Proficiency with chain and single crochet stitches is required. You will receive a supply list when you register online.
During the FIRST NIGHT of this class, you will make all of the bear's appendages. (You will probably have some homework if you aren't able to finish during the first night, but don't worry, you'll know what to do by the time you leave.) During the SECOND NIGHT of class, you will make the body and attach everything as you go.
