Feeling good is heavily influenced by how well you move and breathe. Bodies that lack motion have more limitations or pain and often more emotional distress. Holding your breath, gasping, and shallow breathing are all breathing patterns related to stressors. Free movement in your body and breath coincide with comfort, ease, and vitality. Noticing the places of freedom and restriction in your body and breath offer you the opportunity to take your health in the direction of well-being, happiness, and satisfaction.

Join Dr. Erika Putnam in a presentation that will use yoga to demonstrate how to inquire and more deeply connect with your movement, breath, health, and wellbeing. Dr. Putnam, chiropractic physician, and yoga instructor will discuss the “bones” of movement related to posture and structural alignment. She will show ways to utilize yoga in connection with “breath” to sense coordination of the physical body and bring awareness about restrictions that diminish the body’s ability to express function and full potential.
