•Are you finding it challenging to experience joy after having lost someone you love?
•Do you feel like you just haven’t had time to reflect on your grief, and have been just "going through the motions”?
•Do you feel stress or tension in your body since you’ve been grieving?
After we lose someone precious to us in our lives, it is sometimes difficult to experience genuine joy again for several reasons. And if we do, sometimes there might be feelings of sadness or guilt, knowing that we are not able to share it with the ones we've lost.
In this experiential workshop, we will explore aspects of grief & joy using creative recovery resources with two wellness leaders who specialize in healing from grief & loss after navigating their own losses.
We will learn new ways to lean into joy, using meditation, writing, massage, & acupuncture.
Included in the session will be a group acupuncture session for calming & relaxation.
Our goal is for you to leave with:
• A sense of peace & calm in your body & mind.
• A sense of understanding with who you are, and where you are in your recovery process.
• Space to experience joy again using new perspectives on healing through the grieving process that will bring you hope & inspiration
• Connection to others who are also struggling with similar challenges in grief & loss, so that we all feel less alone and more connected.
Led by body-centered psychotherapist, Carol Cober, MS, LCPC, NCC, LMT
