Barbecue The Musical is a comedy musical written by and starring lunch poet Daniel Searle and Goat Comedy founding member Heather Minor.

Britain is facing nuclear war and imminent destruction. Somewhere in suburbia, a group of middle-class people stoically continue with their barbecue: burning sausages, deterring wasps with citronella candles, and trying not to invite Graham from next door.

The show will make its debut run at the 2018 Brighton Fringe, starring Jo Neary, David Edwards, Georgia Apsion, Carl Carzana, Jan Rust, Joseph Burns and Mark Dishman.

A live four-piece band will accompany 12 original songs, including:

- You Can't Microwave Bacon
- Three Second Rule
- When I Was Up Your Nose
- Slightly More Liberal Than You
- and more!

Come along to Sweet Venues@The Werks on Middle Street, Brighton. 9pm-10pm on May 12th, 25th and 26th!
