“Pause you who read this, and think for a moment of the long chain of iron or gold, of thorns or flowers, that would never have bound you, but for the formation of the first link on one memorable day.”

Charles Dickens GE.

As part of A Town Explores a Book – St Leonards’ celebration of Great Expectations, the Hastings Lit Fest is teaming up with The Wine Shed to use the words of Great Expectations as a springboard to explore those connections that form the links and chains that secure and bind our daily lives.

The Hastings LitFest is a celebration of writers, we believe that writing is not some sort of exclusive club, but a joy and challenge everyone can be part of. The evening will be a chance to play and experiment with the written word, whilst also experimenting with some delicious tapas and perfectly chosen wines.
Entry is free (pay only for what you consume) - but spaces are limited.
