This is a unique yoga class, based on my favorite way to practice.
Each pose gets plenty of time, around ~1 min~ so you can deepen your pose while practicing good mechanics.
This means there's no rush to get to the next transition.
There's time to take a full inhale and exhale in every pose.
Almost every pose happens only -1- time, so you can pour your best effort into each one.
For a beginner in the yoga world, this is a great opportunity to learn the nuances of each pose and spend time getting comfortable.
There are a LOT of opportunities to work hard in this class, and if you want to break a sweat and feel sore the next day, you will have that option.
However, I encourage everyone to be mindful of their own body, and not push beyond their limits. This is a class for getting stronger, calmer, and more aware of your own mechanics.
