It’s very common to think of yoga only as a physical practice. Moving the body in and out of different postures – asanas – focusing on breathing deeply. It feels good. But why are we doing theses
postures? What is the real purpose of the asana practice?

Yoga is so much more than just perfect postures and alignment. According to Eastern tradition the physical practice of yoga is a preparation for the body and mind to be able to meditate. Being able to sit comfortably in stillness, with whatever is present, for a longer period of time.

In this class we will explore the mind and its function through meditation. We will begin on the journey to detach ourselves from the external world and bring the awareness inward to unfold what
lies deep underneath all those layers – our most authentic self.
