Join me this season for yoga session in a cozy, spacious studio. Class begins with slow Hatha based flow and then transitions in to a Yin practice with longer, more restorative holds. Finding the balance by surrendering in these passive poses; which your body can relax and release.
Using the Breath combined with this practice will help you find the space to move deeper into the postures, bringing your body and mind into the stillness, peacefulness and the serene.
Asana practice is followed by deep relaxation (Savasana or Yoga Nidra), Pranayama and Meditation.
We will tap in to the importance of Breath in our practice and how it is linked with our Mind.
Breath defines you! In the breath is the magic of Yoga. How we breath is how we pertain the world ... If we learn how to master the breath we will learn how to master our mind!
When the body, breath and mind are aligned, we express power with ease and grace. This is fundamental not only to managing our energy (life force) but also effectively reducing limitations.
As we learn to embody this attitude during our practice, we begin to carry it forth into our daily lives, meeting with a sense of peace, serenity and self-mastery....
Open to all levels, no previous Yoga experience is necessary.
