The Dona Ana Arts Council will again present the acclaimed southwestern New Mexico duo of Randy Granger and Algernon D’Ammassa as part of its Unplugged series this summer. On June 29, for one evening only, the two will perform the New Mexico premiere of their latest original work, Songs of Un-Creation.
Songs of Un-Creation premiered at the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2016, and keeps the convention of D’Ammassa and Granger as the ancient, homeless wanderers of their previous productions. This time, the storytellers ruminate on tales of the earth’s origin – and clues embedded within the lore against the undoing of creation by humankind.
This special performance will take place at 7 pm on Friday, June 29, at the Dona Ana Arts Cultural Center at 1740 Calle de Mercado in Mesilla.
General admission will be $10. Advance tickets may be purchased through the Center at www.DAArts.org or by phone at (575) 523-6403.
