5 afternoons during the School Holidays of electronics and Scratch coding. Classes are kept small, maximum of 6 (please contact to accommodate a big group).

For ages 7+ and 12+ - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, or STEM learning, to gain a basic understanding of ‘Physical Computing'. In other words, building interactive physical systems by the use of software and hardware that can sense and respond to the real world. Identify computer components, learn programming concepts using Scratch API (Application Programming Interface) with Raspberry Pi input/output electronics using and electronic breadboard.

Pre-requests: None. "Make Video Game Controller, Wire, and Code" 1-hour introductory course helpful but not essential. {Optionally, bring your own USB memory stick for back-ups, but not essential.}

Objective: To Have Fun! And, to develop an appreciation for creativity, reasoning, problem solving and collaboration while having fun making video games. Understanding basic concepts of electronic circuits interfaced to a computer. Learn by doing hands-on physical computing activities.
