During all of Term 2 After school physical computing electronics course wiring Raspberry Pi Computer and coding in Python. Classes are kept small, maximum of 6 (please contact to accommodate a big group).

All Ages 11+ years Introduction to electronics and Python programming! Not just screen time coding. Learn by doing fun physical computing activities that interface with a Raspberry Pi computer’s input/output electronics. Physical Computing is building interactive systems by the use of software and hardware that can sense and respond to the real world. Python programming using Turtle graphics and API to Minecraft Pi (virtual world). Wire input/output circuits and then write interface Python code to work with those circuits (real world).

Prerequisites: None - Block programming experience or introductory "Make Video Game Controller, Wire and Coding" course helpful but not essential. All equipment supplied {Option: bring WiFi Windows laptop to load Python on own computer}.

Limited space, booking is essential. Cost $247

When: Weekly 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm (5 to 5:30 may leave), Thursdays, starting 3 May to 28 June 12 2018.
Where: Thinklab Fremantle (3 blocks from the train station, upstairs next to National Hotel on the Cappuccino Strip)
