Join us for a twilight hike in Thomas Riley Wilderness Park on Saturday, April 14. We’ll explore the newly restored Wagon Wheel Trail, then head up to Vista Point for expansive views of Modjeska and Santiago Peaks. Returning through Oak Canyon we may spy deer and other denizens of the park. This loop hike is 3+ miles with approximately 480 feet of ascent. This route is fairly easy with one sustained uphill.
Meet in the picnic area by the parking lot at 6:00. Arrive early and enjoy the nature garden at the park headquarters. Bring water, snacks and a long sleeve layer.
