Would you like to see local birds up close or have a bird question for experts? Pomona Valley Audubon Society’s will bring scopes and binoculars to give everyone a good close-up view of our amazing local birds. Jays, sparrows, bluebirds, quail, titmice, woodpeckers, hawks, and goldfinches are all likely to show up. Tanagers, orioles, and grosbeaks are possible. Family and kid-friendly!
Park free at the Indian Hill lot (just before Armstrong) and walk east along the trail about .5 mile or park in the upper Claremont Hills Wilderness Park lot (free for residents with parking stickers; small fee for others) and walk west about .5 mile on Thompson Creek Trail. Cross Pomello and continue for about a block.
