This six-session course is called a 'Life-skills' class because, as well as working on the basic commands you would see in a 'normal' dog training class, I work primarily as a Concept Trainer. Each week will focus on a different concept: optimism, confidence, calmness, focus, flexibility and impulse/self-control. Of course, if you are looking for a course where your dog will learn the basic 'sit', 'down' and 'stay' commands, along with recall, socialisaing with other dogs and loose-lead walking, you will not be disappointed as these are covered too.
Using positive-reinforcement and force-free training, your dog will be challenged and encouraged to learn and have fun whilst making their own powerful choices through your shaping of their behaviour.
Have a look at my pictures to gain an insight into what you will be working on.
There will be a owner-only session on Friday 15th March at 7pm for you to meet me, learn about Concept training methods, what is included in the course and ask any questions.
