This six-session course is called a 'Life-skills' class because, as well as working on the basic commands you would see in a 'normal' puppy training class, I work primarily as a Concept Trainer. Each week will focus on a different concept: optimism, confidence, calmness, focus, flexibility and impulse/self-control. Of course, if you are looking for a course where your dog will learn the basic 'sit', 'down' and 'stay' commands, along with recall, socialisaing with other puppies and loose-lead walking, you will not be disappointed as these are covered too.
Using positive-reinforcement and force-free training, your puppy will be challenged and encouraged to learn and have fun whilst making their own powerful choices through your shaping of their behaviour.
Have a look at my pictures to gain an insight into what you will be working on.
There will be a owner-only session on Friday 1st June at 7pm for you to meet me, learn about Concept training methods, what is included in the course and ask any questions.
So, what do you get for your money?
-An owner-only introductory meeting;
-Six training sessions with your pupppy;
-A celebratory puppy play session at Eva's Green at the end of the course;

What have others said about the course?
Fun and informative class and Emma goes above and beyond to help us train our dogs. The classes and support are extremely good value. My dog loves Emma!!
Bailey and I have really enjoyed working with Emma who is an extremely knowledgable dog trainer. The classes have been fun, challenging and varied. Emma has also helped outside of classes with issues we have faced around potty training and socialisation. I would highly recommend Emma for dog training and look forward to the intermediate class!
Emma has been excellent. The classes have been varied and fun giving you many tools and skills to continue training your dog at home. However, what has been exceptional is Emma's availability for advice at any time. You can message her and she will answer any questions and give you ideas and advice even if we have not covered it in class. I have signed up for the next set of classes as I want to continue the training but even if you hadn't she offered that you could still contact her for ongoing advice.
We have had a super time and really enjoyed the training sessions. Emma is a wonderful lady and full of encouragement even when the puppies wish to do their own thing lol. We have learnt so much and lots to take on board. Thank you Emma. Fabulous x
