This workshop will pick up where most prenatal classes leave off.


Pregnancy is a time busy with preparations and celebrations for your upcoming birth, but it can also offer you the chance to reflect on your life once your new little one has arrived! In this workshop we will pick up where most prenatal classes leave off. You will be encouraged as you learn more about infants and their needs, and reflect on both your excitement and worries as you approach the birth of your baby.

What to expect the first 8 weeks with a new baby
Diapering options and bum care
Baby wearing and safety
Sleep options and safety (including bed-sharing and crib-sleeping)
Comforting new babies
Developmental leaps
Practical suggestions for breast and bottle feeding
Postpartum healing - what to expect, what helps, what to avoid
Relationship changes - expectations, strategies, helpful communication and preparation exercises
Self-Care + Coping
Finding a Village
Postpartum Plan (Much like a birth plan)
Conversations to have before baby gets here

Class will be extraordinary, offering new parents practical preparation, and powerful processes, dialogue and art. The workshop will have the latest research, and personal growth processes to help them fully participate transition into parenthood as rite of passage.

Tiny babies in arms are welcome to accompany parents. :)
