Choose Epic brings you great music every Thursday night at the new B-side Lounge at College and Beatrice. Amazing place, you're gonna love it! The shows are a cool mix of singer/songwriter, pop, folk/country, and jazz, just right for a cool Thursday night!!

Sigrun Stella- 900 sharp - Born in Akureyri, Iceland, singer-songwriter Sigrún Stella moved to Toronto as a teen, but has her feet planted firmly in both countries and retains a special fondness for her distinct native culture. Influenced by such acts as Brandi Carlile, Mazzy Star, and Joni Mitchell, her music is moody and intelligent, with strong folk and jazz influences framing a powerful, but sensitive voice.

She has opened up for numerous acts, including Of Monsters and Men, Lay Low, Kinnie Starr, and Svavar Knutúr and has achieved extensive radio airplay in Iceland. Sigrún Stella has also written songs for several films, including The Saver, which has been nominated for Canadian Film Industry Awards.

Sigrún Stella's sophomore album, King's Park, is now out on iTunes and Spotify.

The Histrionics - 1000 - If The Beatles had a 3-some with G.B.V and The New Pornographers, their love children would be The Histrionics. Combining sardonic, acerbic lyrics with upbeat pop sensibilities, this band draws on a variety of influences to create instant pop classics.

Moreno Gomes - 1100 - is a new local singer/songwriter that wants to share his feelings with the beautiful people of Toronto. His songs are inspired by everyday thoughts, hope, changes, struggle and loss.
