Fear and Depression Workshop at The Self Centre, Bury St Edmunds. This workshop includes breathing techniques (pranayama), yoga postures, body sensing yoga and mindfulness and meditation. We will explore and learn about fear and depression. We will look at some of the conventional ways to deal with depression. We will explore how fear and depression affects us physically, mentally and emotionally. We will explore any tension, tightness or restricted range of movement in certain areas in our bodies. We will then use breathing, yoga and meditation to help with physical, mental and emotional releases. Please feel free to attend if you have not practised yoga before, as most postures are modified to suit each person.
The aim of this workshop is for you to have some transformative techniques to take away to help you in your every day life to help you deal with depression and/or fear. As well as you leaving feeling released, connected, grounded, peaceful and with a deep sense of well being.
