Indulge in deep relaxation of the physical, mental and emotional body. Through this guided meditation and gentle yoga flow workshop, you will open to the subconscious mind and focus on significant energy points within the body, allowing prana to surge freely, with it, an element of harmony.
Yoga Nidra helps relieve stress, restores lack of sleep and enhances concentration and focus. It is said that 20 minutes of this practice can be equivalent to four hours of sleep. It is also helpful for people working with anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD and chronic pain.
The workshop will include a guided meditation through the chakras, using visualization and affirmations. Followed by gentle yoga, synchronized movement to breath. Closing with Yoga Nidra, a 30 minute meditative journey through the subconscious mind and significant energy points within the body.
Props will be provided and this workshop is suitable for all levels. Hosted by Samantha Coacci.
