You may have never spent much time meditating before. You might fidget all the while thinking “am I done yet?” and “I can’t be doing this right” This is a very common scenario, it doesn’t mean you can’t meditate. The mind like any muscle, it must be trained to do your bidding rather than its own. Over this new course Jane will take you through different types of meditation, slowly building the length of time that you can sit in meditation.
The classes will include breathing exercises, preparing the body for meditation, a technique for releasing tension and stress. We will explore different types of meditation, active, mantra, guided and silent each class will end with a period of sound relaxation.
