Come join Elizajane and delve into the wonderful world of Junque Journals*
Saturday, May 5th 9:00 – 5:00
You will learn the basics of what makes up a junk journal, a method of binding a journal, techniques to age papers and closure ideas.
We’ll also look at ways to embellish the inside of your journal. You’ll learn different ways to create pockets, tabs, tuck tabs, envelopes, etc. You’ll also learn the many ways you can use your finished journal.
We will supply you with an old book to use as your cover, some papers for the inside of your journal and miscellaneous embellishments. You will also be given a list of materials to bring from your personal stash at home.
Please note that no two journals will be the same!
*A Junque Journal is… a handmade book made up of recycled items such as papers from magazines, brochures, patterned paper, sheet music, envelopes, packaging, brown paper bags, maps, greeting cards, post cards, etc.
