About the Event:
In Holistic Self-Care and Functional Movement Fundamentals, participants will be introduced to an advanced methodology for nurturing the ‘whole’ person. Participants will deepen their understanding of fascia with the latest science regarding form, function, conditioning, and repair. They will learn strategies for integrating functional movement patterns into daily life to maximize quality and career fulfillment while minimizing degenerative processes of the human body. Participants will also learn how to incorporate tactile cuing, ‘inner sensing,’ and massage techniques into the self-care functional movement process. By the end of the course, participants will be able to healthfully distinguish holistic functional movement practice from exercise in a way that motivates and cultivates productive self-care application throughout activities of daily living and beyond.

About the Host:
Daniel Moore is a holistic health practitioner and wellness educator. In his early 20’s, Mr. Moore suffered a debilitating back injury that propelled him into the field of holistic health. In 2002, Moore became a licensed clinical massage therapist in both Illinois and Hawaii. After a decade of facilitating and teaching integrative manual therapies, Mr. Moore obtained Fascial Fitness Instructor certification from world renown, integrative manual therapist and author, Tom Myers. Moore is currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Harper College and teaches continuing education workshops for healthcare providers as well as a wide array of workshops for facilitating personal growth. http://www.inspire2bwell.com
