PCOS is a widespread experience that many women struggle to manage. It can cause irregular periods, severe menstrual pains, acne, excess hair, infertility, weight gain/loss, and even mental health symptoms such as depression.
To control these symptoms, some of us can depend on medication, some of us prefer to avoid pills, and some of us need both medical intervention and lifestyle change to cope with the effects of PCOS.
Nutrition is the cornerstone of creating a healthy (and affordable!) lifestyle that keeps you belly-deep in delicious food, while also helping you to manage your symptoms and overcome PCOS.
Join Smart Aleks and Purple Carrot Nutrition in a workshop led by two women successfully controlling PCOS and symptoms with healthy diet.
Content includes the pathophysiology of PCOS, its relationship with diet, using food to manage symptoms, and (most importantly) building YOUR own PERSONALISED meal plan.
