The Nicene Creed is said just about every Sunday in most of the Christian churches around the world. The articles of faith included in the Nicene Creed are shared by all mainstream Christians.
This class will explore how the creed was formed in the fourth century and also what it means for us to say the creed today. Please join us for soup and side dishes on Wednesday evenings. Our supper will begin at 6:00 p.m., and class will begin at 6:30 and conclude at 7:15. We will have a sign-up list for soups, and the rest of us are asked to bring side dishes. Our teacher will be the Rev. Dr. Frank W. Hughes, Interim Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church.
