We are excited to be offering this 6-week donation-based mindfulness program which will incorporate studio & equine time for teens ages 13-16.
Levels of teen anxiety, depression and feelings of isolation are increasing. The Mindfulness Program helps teens develop compassion, emotional intelligence/resilience, and self- awareness. The practice of mindfulness helps teens notice their thoughts and emotions without judgment. It supports them in understanding who they are and gives them the tools to navigate through life's challenges. It enables them to respond vs react in a variety of situations. In the Mindfulness Program, teens will practice communication, meditation, movement and compassion exercises in the studio and with the equines. Facilitators will guide participants and hold space for safe and respectful exploration. Teens will experience what it is like to truly ‘listen’ as well as be ‘heard’.
WHAT TO EXPECT

*After studio time the teens will share territory with the equines further cultivating moment to moment awareness and reinforcing the path to connect with self and others
Suggested Donation: $40-$100 for the 6-week program.
